Job summary

Delano Miami Beach is seeking a Steward to support the kitchen’s operations and maintain cleanliness of utensils, equipment, and work areas. You will follow shift assignments, ensure safe handling of chemicals, and help maintain a high standard of hygiene in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

The role requires a proactive, team-oriented individual with strong English communication skills and a customer-focused, friendly demeanor. This is a full-time on-site position at Delano Miami Beach.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent communication skills in English.

• Willingness to perform a range of stewarding duties including cleaning and housekeeping tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supports the seamless running of the kitchen by maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Accepts service area assignments at the start of each shift and adheres to health and safety guidelines.
• Keeps kitchen work areas clean and tidy, including sweeping, mopping, and waste management.
• Ensures proper storage of utensils and equipment and proper usage of chemicals as required.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by supervisor to support exceptional service.
