Job summary

The Staff Accountant at Highgate is responsible for assisting the Director of Finance and Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring internal controls, and compliance with regulations. The role focuses on payroll, income audit, and accounts receivable processing and collections.

Upholding Highgate Hotels standards, you will work closely with the finance team to reconcile ledgers, input journal entries, and support the monthly close.

Qualifications

• College courses in an associated or related field and/or related experience in a Hotel or Hospitality environment.
• Must be proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office (Intermediate Excel and Basic Word)
• Accounts Receivable and Payroll experience is preferred
• Hotel PMS Opera is preferred

Responsibilities

• Monitor, prepare, and communicate financial reports by due dates.
• Income Audit and daily data entry into BiPortal.
