Job summary

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a restaurant/server associate to provide friendly, efficient service to guests at our hotel dining outlets.

You will take orders, upsell menu items, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards, while collaborating with all departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Minimum one year of guest service experience is required, with preferred TIPS certification or ability to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired, or ability to obtain certification.
• Must have one or more years of previous guest service experience.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write English.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: respond to guests in a friendly, positive and timely manner and maximize guest satisfaction.
• Serving Duties: take orders, upsell menu items, comply with health regulations and POS procedures.
• Side Work: complete all required side work and keep stations clean and stocked.
• Helps control expenses: handle cash responsibly and minimize waste.
• Works Safely: maintain a clean, safe work area and follow emergency procedures.
• Self/Workload Management: plan and prioritize duties and attend required meetings.
• Works collaboratively with all departments to meet guest needs.
