Job summary

B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group is seeking a hospitality professional to prepare and serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous manner.

Compliance with health and liquor laws, and high guest satisfaction are essential. Availability to work at least two evenings (Thu–Sun) is required. Responsibilities include delivering excellent guest service, taking orders, upselling menu items, and maintaining cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired, or ability to obtain certification.
• Must have one or more years of previous guest service experience.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Physically demanding duties such as walking, standing, carrying and lifting.
• Prefer one or more years of serving in a fast-paced restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service: anticipate and respond to guests with friendly, positive, timely service.
• Serving Duties: take orders accurately, upsell specials, follow health regulations and cash handling/POS procedures.
• Side Work: clean restaurant, stations, coffee and coolers, vacuum, manage trash and supplies.
• Control expenses: follow procedures when handling cash and transactions; use equipment properly.
• Work Safely: keep a clean, safe area and follow emergency procedures.
• Self/Workload Management: plan, organize and prioritize duties; comply with attendance and grooming standards.
• Teamwork: assist bartender, take room service orders, collaborate across departments.
