Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a friendly, capable server to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with setup, stock, and service in a dining area, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation throughout your shift.

Aiming to meet high standards, you’ll collaborate with culinary teams and servers to coordinate smooth service and guest satisfaction. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 6 months in food service, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Six months experience in food service preferred.
• Knowledgeable of food and alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills, fluent in English.
• Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand and walk for the entire shift.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfort with hot/cold environments and high noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner.
• Set up, stock, and service of assigned area; sets, cleans, and resets tables.
• Remove dirty dishes and transport to dish area.
• Monitor and replenish stock items in assigned area.
• Refill water, coffee, condiments, bread; carry orders to tables as needed.
• Ensure a clean, sanitized work station throughout shift.
• Coordinate with culinary team and servers to maintain workflow.
• Maintain equipment and service stations in proper condition.
• Meet sanitation requirements and company policies.
• Support safety programs and proper lifting procedures.
