Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking a hospitality team member to interact with guests, stock and service in the assigned area, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards across the outlet. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Six months experience in food service preferred.
• Knowledgeable of food and alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fluent and literate in English.
• Ability to respond calmly in fast-paced environments.
• Stand and walk for entire shift; lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with guests and co-workers in a helpful, positive, upbeat, and professional manner.
• Responsible for complete set-up, stocking and service of assigned area; sets, cleans, and resets tables.
• Removing dirty dishes, glassware, flatware, and soiled linens from tables and countertops; transports to dish area.
• Monitoring and replenishing stock items in assigned area in a neat, accurate and timely fashion.
• Refilling water glasses, coffee cups, butter/condiments, bread; carry orders to tables as needed.
• Making coffee or tea as needed.
• Ensuring assigned work area is neat, clean and sanitized throughout shift.
• Partnering with culinary team and server to ensure coordinated workflow.
• Maintaining equipment and service stations; manage refrigerators and beverage stations.
• Meeting or exceeding sanitation requirements (ServSafe).
• Adhering to safety, regulatory and company policies.
• Supporting safety and accident prevention programs.
• Presenting oneself as a credit to the Company.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.
