Job summary

The Standard Brussels is seeking a Sales Intern to join its dynamic sales team. You will assist in researching potential corporate and MICE clients, prepare proposals and contracts, and support CRM, events and client activities.

You will work closely with our Director of Sales and events team to transform enquiries into memorable experiences, gaining hands-on exposure to hotel sales and business development in a creative, international setting.

Qualifications

• Student in hospitality, business, sales or marketing.
• Genuine interest in hospitality and ability to learn.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; energetic and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Research potential corporate and MICE clients and identify new business opportunities.
• Analyze market trends and prepare proposals, presentations, contracts and responses to client enquiries and RFPs.
• Maintain CRM, prepare sales reports and support sales activities, familiarisation trips and client events.
• Assist in client meetings, hotel site inspections and sales presentations; coordinate with Events team to turn enquiries into experiences.
