Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/U.S. Capitol is seeking a sales-oriented Hotel Sales Coordinator to support the hotel’s leadership team.

You will handle client communications, generate resumes and BEOs, and coordinate group room blocks and events with attention to detail. The role emphasizes a strong hospitality mindset, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, while leveraging sales systems and standard hotel procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous sales or hospitality experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with hotel policies, procedures, and operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of hotel reservations and sales systems.
• Experience using social media for promotions is a plus.
• Customer service mindset and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative and organizational support for the sales leadership team.
• Answer calls promptly and relay account information to managers.
• Serve as primary contact for clients via phone and email.
• Prepare resumes and BEOs; lead weekly BEO & Resume meetings.
• Enter rooming lists, notes, and pickup data in sales systems weekly.
• Reserve and confirm guest rooms, meeting, and banquet spaces as needed.
• Communicate with clients in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain contracts and sales documents with accuracy.
• Assist with hotel events, promotions, and social media updates.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; maintain flexible weekends/holidays.
