Job summary

Hilton Columbia Center and Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia Historic District, through Hospitality America, seek a proactive Area Sales Coordinator to support the property sales team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will handle inquiries, assist with proposals and contracts, and collaborate with front desk and department heads in a fast-paced environment.

• Hotel and sales experience a plus.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment where priorities are constantly changing.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, answer calls, process lead information, and maintain files.
• Interact with group and business travel customers via email, phone, and in person to qualify potential customers.
• Enter room block status, monitor pick up, and manage reservation changes.
• Assist with RFP responses, proposals, contracts, and meeting arrangements.
• Support Director of Sales with reservations and group master accounts.
• Manage group files and upload signed agreements for bookings.
• Create collateral and coordinate marketing materials.
• Participate in Sales Department meetings with heads and front desk staff.
• Coordinate meeting room setup and catering/breakfast requests.
