Job summary

Courtyard Boston Marlborough seeks an outgoing hospitality professional with a sales mindset to join our TEAM. You will serve as a liaison between the sales department and the front desk to provide guests with an unforgettable experience, respond to inquiries, input group reservations, and assist with every aspect of the group’s event.

Advancement opportunities include roles from Sales Manager to Director of Sales, supported by our Management Development Program and travel/discount benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous sales and catering experience in a brand or luxury hotel establishment is ideal.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form.
• Comprehension of technical application of reservations system.
• Detail-oriented, effectively use social media for postings and updates and market hotel events.
• Ability to master basic selling techniques.
• Prior experience in hospitality, events, or hotel sales support is preferred.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with office software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort learning hotel sales systems.

Responsibilities
