Job summary

Anthony’s Beach Cafe is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of a bustling seafood restaurant. You’ll lead a team, ensure exemplary guest service, manage departments, and help drive revenue while maintaining health and safety standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management and at least 3 years in a supervisory role within food service, with strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the accommodation or food services industry is required.
• Strong knowledge of operational procedures, health and safety regulations, and customer service standards is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations of the facility.
• Supervise and motivate staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain standards.
• Coordinate with department heads to ensure efficient workflow and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and company policies.
• Participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluations of team members.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Support marketing and promotional activities to increase business and brand reputation.
