The AGMs responsibilities include overseeing guest service, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, and HR functions, with a hands-on approach to guest satisfaction, safety, and team development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure brand standards of operations are adhered to.
• Ensure department heads have proper staffing coverage.
• Engage guests by spending time in the lobby during peak check-in and check-out hours.
• Resolve guest issues to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Review guest service scores daily to identify improvements.
• Monitor operations to achieve budgeted goals.
• Maintain high sanitation standards for food handling and maintenance equipment.
• Counsel, coach, discipline and terminate team members as appropriate with GM/HR review and input to ensure policy compliance.
• Hire and train team members to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure all brand standard training is completed within required time frames.
• Ensure weekly schedules reflect business needs.
• Maintain personnel and payroll files in compliance with policy.
• Work with housekeeping and engineering to block rooms for maintenance.
• Promote a safe work environment to minimize liability and expense.
• Regularly walk the property to evaluate the hotel's condition and communicate with team members.
• Ensure property reports are completed with accurate information and in compliance with policy.
• Report any items in need of repair.
• Follow all safety procedures while working.
