Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide offers a Management Development Program (MDP) at U.S. based resorts, including Palm Desert, CA. This 12-month, immersive program rotates through multiple departments to build leadership and hospitality expertise.

Participants work with site leadership, gain experience with guests and owners, and are paired with a dedicated mentor to support their development. The role is non-exempt and paid hourly, with overtime per state and federal law.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree by program start date.
• Recent graduates within 0–2 years after graduation preferred.
• Hospitality or resort operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through Front Office, Housekeeping, Recreation, Safety & Security, Food & Beverage and Facilities.
• Develop leadership and operational skills through hands-on assignments.
• Work with site leadership and owners/guests to gain broad resort experience.
• Partner with a mentor/sponsor to navigate the program.
