Job summary

Marriott Vacations Worldwide in Palm Desert, CA offers a 12-month Management Development Program designed to build leadership and hospitality skills across multiple departments. The program is non-exempt, with hourly pay and overtime in accordance with law.

A bachelor’s degree must be earned by start, with hospitality/business majors preferred. Recent graduates or those within two years of graduation are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Candidates will need to earn a bachelor’s degree by the time they begin the program.
• Preferred degree in Hospitality or Hotel/Restaurant Management. Business and Hospitality minor will also be considered.
• Candidates should be recent graduates within the current semester or up to two years post-graduation.
• Prior hospitality or resort operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• 12-month program rotating through multiple departments to ensure a comprehensive understanding of resort operations.
• Departments may include – Front Office, Housekeeping, Recreation, Safety & Security, Food & Beverage and Facilities.
• Curriculum contains department focused checklists with weekly focus areas.
• Opportunity to interact with owners, guests and associates while building operational expertise.
