Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel in South Beach seeks an IT Specialist to maintain hotel information technology systems, hardware, and infrastructure and to provide staff direction and supervision. You will manage day‑to‑day operations at assigned locations while ensuring the efficient operation, availability, and security of endpoints, servers, printers, UPS devices, and network equipment.

Qualifications

• Two year College Degree.
• Two years related work experience.
• Knowledge PMS and related interfaces.
• Knowledge of Desktop Hardware and Software Installation and Configuration.
• Knowledge of Networking systems (DHCP, DNS, switches).
• Knowledge of Retail and F&B POS Systems.
• Hand on experience with Mobile Device Support and Management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel information technology systems, hardware, and infrastructure and provide staff direction and supervision.
• Manage day-to-day operations at assigned locations while ensuring uptime and security of endpoints, servers, printers, UPS devices, and network devices.
• Monitor patching, antivirus protection, and OS/app updates for endpoints and servers.
• Provide support for data and telephony connectivity to enterprise network; support POS, PMS interfaces, and guest services tech.
• Maintain inventory of hardware, software, and licenses; perform backups and recover data as needed.
• Coordinate with Local IT Director and Corporate IT on projects, maintenance, and upgrades; ensure policy compliance.
