Job summary

Loews Miami Beach Hotel is seeking a skilled IT professional to maintain hotel information technology systems, hardware, and infrastructure at our South Beach property. You will support day-to-day operations, ensure uptime, and safeguard network and endpoint security across front-of-house and back-office systems.

Ideal candidates will have a two-year college degree and at least two years of related IT experience, plus knowledge of desktop hardware/software, networking (DHCP/DNS), PMS interfaces,

Qualifications

• Two year college degree required.
• Two years related IT experience preferred.
• Knowledge of desktop hardware and software installation/configuration.
• Knowledge of networking systems including DHCP and DNS.
• Familiarity with PMS interfaces and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Assign, manage, and perform tasks to ensure hardware/software uptime and security.
• Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and patch OS and applications; update antivirus.
• Provide data and telephony connectivity support to enterprise network.
• Maintain inventory of hardware, software, licenses and server images.
• Perform backups and ensure data integrity; restore servers as needed.
• Coordinate IT projects with Local/Regional and Corporate IT teams; assist budgeting.

Manage all aspects of the day-to-day operations at assigned locations while ensuring the efficient operation, availability, and security of all user endpoints, servers, printers, UPS devices, network devices, and telephony infrastructure.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesAssign, manage, and perform tasks necessary to ensure the efficient operation, availability, and security of all hardware and software endpoints, servers, printers, UPS devices, network devices, and telephony infrastructure.Ensure monitoring, analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective actions for O/S and application patching and anti-virus protection updates to all property user endpoints and servers.Provide support for data and telephony device connectivity to an enterprise local and wide area network.Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all hardware, software, and licenses.Perform local systems backup, ensuring all critical data is transferred to backup servers without errors or omissions. Maintains current system images of all server-level endpoints. Perform restoration on local servers to ensure data is protected and functional.Provide support for hotel business technologies to include POS, High-Speed Internet, FTG/VOD, Telephony, and PMS interfaces.
