Highgate Hotels offers a 2027 Human Resources Internship designed for students eager to gain hands-on experience in hospitality HR. You will work with experienced HR professionals in a dynamic hotel environment to learn recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

This internship emphasizes growth, networking, and practical skill-building in talent acquisition, HR systems, and guest-service integration across our North American portfolio.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in HR, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field preferred.
• Strong interest in hotel operations, guest service and leadership potential.
• Prior hotel, customer service, retail, or campus leadership is a plus.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Support the HR team with day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks.
• Assist with recruitment, interview scheduling, candidate communication, and onboarding activities.
• Help maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Support employee engagement initiatives, events, and recognition programs.
• Partner with hotel leadership and HR teams to support employee needs and initiatives.
• Gain exposure to talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, and performance management.
• Demonstrate a warm, professional, service-oriented attitude with guests and associates.
• Follow hotel policies, brand standards, safety procedures, confidentiality, and grooming standards.
• Learn and contribute in a fast-paced hospitality environment and develop professional skills.
