Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Chandler, AZ is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, manage seating, and set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. Welcome guests on arrival, escort them to tables, and communicate wait times with professionalism.

Maintain a clean, inviting host stand, assist with bussing when needed, and support the Front of House team to ensure smooth service; we offer flexible schedules, extensive training, advancement opportunities, and benefits for eligible team

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items up to 25 pounds.
• Guest-oriented mindset with patient, positive attitude.
• Maintain positive working relationships with team members.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety procedures.
• Reliable transportation.
• 18+ age requirement for FOH positions.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by bussing and resetting tables as needed.
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
