Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Bridgeville, PA is seeking a friendly Host to warmly welcome guests, guide them to tables, and set expectations for their dining experience. You will manage reservations, communicate wait times, and maintain a pristine host stand while supporting seamless service with the Front of House team.

This role offers flexible schedules, an hourly wage, and opportunities for advancement as the brand expands, with ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
Ability to work on your feet for 8 hours or more a day.
Ability to bend, kneel, and lift items frequently weighing up to 25 pounds.
Ability to be patient and have a guest-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway.
Support the dining room by clearing and resetting tables (bussing) as needed to maintain flow and cleanliness.
Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
