Firebirds Wood Fired Grill in Cranberry Township, PA is seeking a friendly Host to welcome guests, seat tables, manage reservations and help maintain a warm dining room.

You will open doors, guide guests, communicate wait times, and collaborate with the Front of House team. No prior restaurant experience required; we provide extensive training and opportunities for advancement. Flexible schedules and benefits are available for eligible team members.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Guest-oriented mindset and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly as they arrive and thank them as they leave.
• Open doors and create a friendly, inviting first impression.
• Escort guests to their table and set expectations for their experience.
• Manage reservations and waitlists using OpenTable with accuracy and care.
• Communicate wait times clearly and professionally during peak volume.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entryway.
• Support the dining room by clearing and resetting tables (bussing).
• Partner with the Front of House team to ensure smooth, seamless service.
