Flik Hospitality Group in Newark, NJ is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations for a Company account. The role requires excellent communication, multi-tasking, team leadership and superb customer service across food quality and service.

Key responsibilities include budgeting, scheduling, HR functions, menu development with the Chef and implementation of culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary teams.

Qualifications

• BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred.
• Five years of foodservice operation experience.
• High volume production and catering experience is essential.
• Experience managing a budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting for the account.
• Manages overall day to day operations of the account.
• Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations.
• Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training.
• Maintains relationships with customers, guests and Client.
• Works with the Chef and management team to create menus and provide top quality food.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary team.
