Job summary

CETUSA is offering an Internship and a Trainee program in Minneapolis, near the University of Minnesota. The 12‑month program starts January 2027 with a compensation of $17.00 per hour and includes a 2‑week temporary housing stay.

Applicants should be hospitality or tourism management students or recent graduates within 12 months for the Internship, or have a foreign post-secondary credential and experience or 5+ years in hospitality for the Trainee path. Strong English and teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced English is required.
• Ability to work as part of a team with strong communication skills.
• Internship: hospitality or tourism management undergraduate/graduate students OR recent graduates who begin program within 12 months of graduation date.
• Trainee: degree or professional certificate from a foreign post-secondary institution and 1+ year experience in hospitality/tourism management outside the U.S. OR 5+ years in the field.

Responsibilities

• Gain skills in all aspects of front office operations, reservation system, guest registration process.
• Practice hotel and brand guest service standards.
• Learn how to upsell guest rooms and promote hotel services.
• Advance management skills and supervisory duties.
