Job summary

The Olympia Companies is hiring Front Desk Agents in Mount Pleasant to welcome guests, check them in and out, verify registrations, process payments and issue room keys. You will guide guests, balance cash drawers, and maintain reservations with card security in mind.

Qualifications

• Must have a basic working knowledge of a computer including word processing.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Receiving accommodation reservations from visitors
• Taking the details of arriving guests including payment information
• Allocating rooms to all guests
• Providing information about hotel procedures, policies, and facilities
• Providing tourism information to guests
• Issuing receipts to guests
• Ensuring the safety and security of all guests
• Maintain reservations with credit card security in mind
• Balance and account for cash drawer at the desk for each shift
• Document necessary repairs or replacements of room furniture and fixtures
• Greet guests and respond to immediate repair requests
