Job summary

The Forum at Rancho San Antonio is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to keep our senior living community well-maintained and welcoming. You will support preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and perform general repairs across electrical, plumbing, painting, and small carpentry tasks.

We value teamwork, reliability, and strong customer service as you help residents and colleagues. This role includes weekend work and contributes to a warm, mission-driven environment in sunny California.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years in electrical, plumbing, painting and general maintenance in a complex setting.
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and schematics.
• Basic understanding of HVAC thermostats.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance, preventive maintenance, service calls, and emergency maintenance as needed.
• Repair building equipment with moderate plumbing and electrical work and some carpentry.
• Complete apartment turnovers with minor repairs and touchups to original condition.
• Perform apartment inspections and PMs.
• Perform regular pool maintenance, chemical readings, and basic cleaning.
• Assist with HVAC systems including pumps, heaters, plumbing and cooling towers.
• Instruct residents on thermostat usage and thermostat controls.
