Job summary

Integral Senior Living seeks a Maintenance Technician to join our California communities. Responsibilities include maintenance and housekeeping around the grounds, timely repairs to buildings, equipment, and units, and preparing homes for new residents.

Must be able to respond to routine and emergency maintenance requests, manage multiple tasks, and uphold safety standards. Candidates should have at least one year of maintenance experience, strong communication, and solid time-management skills.

Qualifications

• One year maintenance experience.
• Ability to be on call if needed.
• General understanding of systems including plumbing, electrical, mechanical and code compliance.
• Understanding of OSHA, fire prevention, life and safety regulations.
• Ability to respond to emergency calls outside scheduled hours.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Good judgment, problem solving and decision making.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Complete service requests for repair and maintenance of grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
• Fix wall and/or floor coverings; repair furniture and fixtures; basic plumbing work; minor electrical repairs; repair appliances; painting and refurbishing projects; work with heating and air systems, refrigeration systems, carpet and hard surface maintenance and “make ready” rooms as assigned.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance and housekeeping duties in and around the community grounds as assigned.
• Performs routine maintenance duties to complete all service requests for repair and maintenance of all grounds, buildings, apartment homes, equipment and vehicles in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
