Job summary

THE FORUM is seeking a Maintenance Tech II to join our hospitality-focused team. This role maintains the physical plant, performs preventive maintenance, routine servicing, seasonal repairs, and building/equipment fixes.

Hourly wage ranges from $34.08 to $45.44. Full-time position with weekend availability. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career advancement within a mission-driven senior living community.

Qualifications

High school graduate; technical schooling/training preferred.
3–5 years experience in electrical, plumbing, painting and general maintenance in complex commercial/healthcare setting.
Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and schematics.
Basic understanding of HVAC thermostats.
Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
Must have passion for excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance duties, preventive maintenance, service calls, and emergency maintenance.
Make building/equipment repairs, with moderate plumbing and electrical, and some carpentry.
Complete apartment turnovers with minor repairs and touchups to original condition.
Perform apartment inspections and PMs.
Perform pool maintenance, chemical readings, and minor cleaning.
Carry out tasks with oversight as Tech II relative to Tech I levels.
