Le Pain Quotidien is hiring team members in Westlake Village, CA. We seek friendly individuals who enjoy hospitality and can contribute to a warm, welcoming dining environment.

You will support guests from arrival to departure, handle orders, and collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure a smooth service. Compensation is hourly with tips where eligible; benefits include health coverage, PTO, and 401k options.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, is a plus.
• Schedule flexibility is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all dining room and retail areas.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsabilités

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive food and beverage orders, enter into the POS accurately, and coordinate with the kitchen.
• Anticipate guest needs and note any preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Prepare drinks for the dining room as needed.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate to a manager when necessary.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily checklists.
• Organize money and receipts per cash handling policy.
• Keep all restaurant areas clean and organized; assist with setup.
