Job summary

P.F. Chang's China Bistro, Inc. in Birmingham, AL is hiring dine-in food and beverage Servers (Waitress/Waiter). You will provide an exceptional guest experience, learn the menu, help guests choose items, take and serve orders, and process payments in a fast-paced setting.

No prior experience is required—we will train you. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and sanitation practices are essential. State minimum age for alcohol service applies; Food Handler’s Card is preferred or we’ll help you

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Ability to execute proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Have a current Food Handler’s Card where applicable, or we will help you obtain.
• Previous experience is not required – we will train you!

Responsibilities

• Delivers amazing hospitality experience to guests anticipating, delivering, and exceeding guests’ expectations.
• Understands the restaurant menu to engage guests on choosing menu items and able to answer guest’s questions.
• Guides guests through their dining experience while taking, placing, and serving food and beverage orders, as well as processing payments.
• Understands restaurant seating layout, how tables are divided into server areas, and how to deliver food within the restaurant.
