Job summary

Convive Brands is seeking a General Manager in Washington DC to lead a full-service restaurant with a people-first approach. You will set the restaurant tone, coach the team live on the floor, and ensure guest satisfaction across service, food quality and cleanliness.

Qualifications

2+ years of General Manager experience in a full-service restaurant or hospitality group.
Track record of leading teams with energy, empathy, accountability and vision.
Proven ability to recruit, develop, coach and retain high-performing teams.
P&L ownership with forecasting, labor, COGS, inventory and profitability focus.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; background in hospitality required.

Responsibilities

Lead from the floor during service, coaching the team in real time and modeling hospitality.
Own the guest experience by anticipating needs and resolving concerns with urgency.
Build and develop a high-performing team through recruiting, onboarding, coaching and retention.
Oversee operations, ensuring food, service, cleanliness and hospitality meet high standards.
Own restaurant financial performance using P&L, sales trends and cost controls.
