Green Thumb Industries is seeking an Asset Protection Specialist (APS) to blend hospitality with safety leadership. You’ll be the welcoming face, manage check-ins, and uphold compliance while ensuring guests feel safe and cared for.

This role emphasizes active guest engagement, rapid response, and collaboration with store teams to protect people, assets, and the brand across a dynamic dispensary environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with a strong guest-first, hospitality-focused service.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (varying shifts including mornings, days, nights, weekends).
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements.
• Must have valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet all state cannabis employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Be the first smiling face our guests see—greet all visitors with warmth and positivity.
• Manage check-in with professionalism and efficiency, while upholding compliance standards.
• Set the “RISE Vibe” from the moment customers enter our doors.
• Provide basic concierge-level support: answering common questions and directing traffic.
• Serve as a visible, approachable, and responsive presence to deter incidents and ensure a sense of calm and order.
• Monitor entry/exit and site perimeters to ensure safety and compliance.
• De-escalate situations with empathy, tact, and clear communication.
• Escort customers and visitors and support safety and guest flow across the dispensary floor.
• Report and respond to safety, security, or compliance incidents promptly.
