Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) and RISE Dispensaries are seeking an Asset Protection Specialist. You will be the welcoming face, blending hospitality with safety leadership to create a concierge-style experience for guests while protecting assets and staff.

This role emphasizes customer service, situational awareness, and teamwork across the dispensary floor. You’ll stay mobile, assist guests, and uphold compliance and safety standards while modeling GTI's culture.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer-facing or concierge experience strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and/or compliance technology preferred.
• Security, military, or law enforcement experience is a plus when paired with a strong commitment to guest-first, hospitality-focused service.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (i.e., ability to work a schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as mornings, days, nights, and weekends) to meet business needs.
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance.
• Must pass all required background checks including state-specific cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must be 21 years or older and meet all state-specific cannabis employment requirements.
• Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming and check-in with warmth and professionalism.
• Provide concierge-level support: answering common questions and directing traffic.
• Monitor store entry/exit and site perimeters to ensure safety, comfort, and compliance.
• De-escalate situations with empathy, tact, and clear communication.
• Escort customers and visitors and support safety and guest flow.
• Report and respond to safety, security, or compliance incidents.
• Support emergency procedures and preparedness.
• Collaborate with store teams and train new APS members.
• Other duties as assigned.
