Job summary

Solid Rock Recruiting seeks an experienced Division 8 Estimator for hospitality and hotel construction projects in Marietta, GA. Responsibilities include takeoffs, pricing, and bid development across new-build and PIP renovations to support handoff to project management.

The role requires 3+ years in Division 8 estimating, ability to read drawings, and familiarity with hotel brand standards. Strong vendor coordination and adherence to schedule are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of estimating experience in Division 8 (doors, frames, hardware) commercial construction.
• Hands-on experience with Acumatica ERP software.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and hardware sets.
• Understanding of hospitality brand PIP requirements and hotel construction sequencing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete Division 8 estimates (doors, frames, hardware, access control coordination) for hospitality new-construction and renovation/PIP projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from architectural drawings, hardware schedules, and specifications.
• Solicit and evaluate pricing from manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers to build competitive bids.
• Prepare and submit proposals, qualifications, and bid clarifications to general contractors and ownership groups.
• Track bid opportunities, follow up on outstanding proposals, and maintain an active pipeline of hospitality projects.
• Analyze hardware sets against brand PIP standards (Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, etc.) to identify scope gaps or upgrade requirements.
• Manage estimate data, job costing, and bid tracking using Acumatica.
• Log bid documents, drawings, and RFIs using Procore.
• Support smooth project handoff to Project Management team upon award, including budget and scope walkthroughs.
• Monitor material lead times and pricing trends affecting door/hardware bids.
