Job summary

citizenM Boston is seeking a versatile team member to blend customer service, reception, concierge duties, and kitchen tasks. You will be a citizenM ambassador, delivering a memorable guest experience with a positive attitude.

Typical duties include greeting guests, self check-in assistance, local food prep, coffee brewing, and offering city tips. Weekend availability and a flexible shift pattern are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent English.
• A US citizen, or have authorization to work in the United States.
• Willing to travel for training purposes.

Responsibilities

• Make sure everyone gets a warm welcome as soon as they walk in.
• Help guests at self check-in kiosks; no reception desk.
• Prepare and serve local food, brew coffee, or mix a cocktail.
• Be a kitchen hero with dishwashing and cleaning tasks.
• Act as a secret concierge with city tips and recommendations.
• Maintain the living room and canteen for the next shift.

your typical citizenM shift could include:

• Making sure everyone gets a warm welcome as soon as they walk in;
• Helping guests at the self check-in kiosks (we have no reception desk);
• Preparing and serving hot and cold local food;
• Being a kitchen hero - this means you'll be dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, food handling and cooking
• Brewing delicious coffee or mixing a signature cocktail;
• Being a secret concierge to the city, answering guests’ questions about the best places to visit, eat, shop or party;ac
• Maintaining the living room and the canteen clean, and arranging food displays for the following shift;
• Helping our guests with any requests or demands regarding our facilities (you may even get some new tech skills).

Typical shifts are: morning, evening

Morning: 7:00AM-3:30PM

Evening: 3:00PM-11:30PM

Availability to work weekends is required!
