Job summary

Beaver Run Resort & Conference Center in Breckenridge, CO seeks a Controller to oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, payroll, and revenue accounting with strong GAAP and internal control focus. This on-site, full-time role leads month-end close and supports audits.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in hospitality finance, capability with NetSuite and related systems, and a collaborative leadership style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance required; CPA/CMA preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive financial management experience required.
• 3+ years of supervisory leadership experience required.
• Experience in resort, HOA, hospitality environment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and account reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly financial close, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Oversee GL, AP, AR, payroll, revenue accounting, and audits.
• Manage intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidations.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls; drive process improvements.
