Job summary

Hyatt Place Hyatt House Indianapolis Downtown is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations for the property, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA/CMA is preferred, with at least five years of progressive accounting experience and supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA or CMA certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Hotel or hospitality industry experience preferred.
• Experience with accounting systems such as Aptech PVNG, OnQ PMS, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
• Supervise and review the work of accounting staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes for assigned entities.
• Collaborate with property and corporate leadership to support financial goals.
