Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in hotel or hospitality.
• Experience as Accounting Manager, Assistant Director of Finance, or similar roles is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, financial statements, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience with hotel accounting systems and property management systems is preferred.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations: accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, cash management.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Monitor hotel revenues, expenses, and departmental financial performance.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for hotel leadership.
• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and accurate posting of hotel transactions.
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting.
• Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with accounting policies.
• Assist audits (internal and external) as needed.
• Collaborate with department heads on budgets, expenses, and performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls.

Accounting Manager – Hotel

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of a full-service hotel. This position will work closely with hotel leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and efficient accounting processes.

The ideal candidate has previous hotel or hospitality accounting experience and a strong understanding of hotel financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

• - Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash management
• - Prepare and review monthly financial statements and account reconciliations
• - Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• - Monitor hotel revenues, expenses, and departmental financial performance
• - Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses for hotel leadership
• - Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations
• - Oversee daily revenue reporting and ensure proper posting of hotel transactions
• - Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting
• - Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with company accounting policies
