Job summary

CLS Health in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Hospitalist Operations Manager to serve as the primary liaison between hospitalists, leadership, clinical staff, and admin teams. You will oversee provider scheduling, workflows, KPIs, onboarding, and hospital partnerships to drive efficient operations and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities include improving throughput, coordinating staffing, and advancing performance improvement and financial outcomes across the hospitalist service line, while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare operations experience.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive leadership or management experience.
• Experience with hospital medicine or acute care operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between hospitalists, hospital leadership, clinical staff, and admin teams to ensure efficient operations and high-quality patient care.
• Oversee provider scheduling, operational workflows, KPIs, quality initiatives, and onboarding.
• Drive continuous process improvement and financial performance across the hospitalist service line.
• Manage relationships with hospital executives, medical staff leaders, and community stakeholders.
• Support compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements.
