Job summary

Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a Clinic Coordinator to organize daily clinic operations, support providers, and enhance patient experience. The role may include scheduling, ensuring medical necessity compliance, and training medical assistants as a clinical resource.

Responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, managing schedules, triage support, and collaboration with clinic leadership to improve processes while maintaining safety, quality, and service standards.

Qualifications

• Five years as a Senior/Advanced Medical Assistant.
• Two years leadership experience in healthcare preferred.
• One year Training experience preferred.
• Must have CMA/NHA/AMT/RMA CCMA certification and BLS
• Proficiency in medical documentation and patient care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient flow and prepares patients for visits.
• Organizes daily schedules and provides coverage as needed.
• Assists with triage, prescriptions, refills, and referrals; mentors staff.
• Interacts with clinic management to improve processes and protocols.
