Job summary

CLS Health in Houston, TX is seeking a Hospitalist Operations Manager to serve as the primary liaison among hospitalist providers, hospital leadership, clinical staff, and administrative teams, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional patient care.

You will oversee provider scheduling, workflows, onboarding, and performance metrics, while driving continuous process improvement and financial performance across the hospitalist service line in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field is required; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of healthcare operations experience with leadership exposure.
• Experience supporting hospital medicine, acute care, or service lines is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of CMS guidelines, quality metrics, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hospitalist program operations across facilities.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing leadership, and admins to ensure excellence.
• Develop workflows to improve efficiency, throughput, and care coordination.
• Monitor KPIs like LOS, readmission rates, and patient satisfaction.
• Lead budgeting, cost management, and revenue cycle improvements.
• Ensure CMS/JCAHO/HIPAA compliance and regulatory reporting.
