Job summary

Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) is seeking a part-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide patient-centered primary care in skilled nursing facilities across Wyoming and Michigan. Schedule is flexible with six-hour shifts, typically starting between 7:00 a.m.

and 10:00 a.m., no on-call or overnight duties, and about 15–20 visits daily. The role emphasizes independent work within a collaborative multidisciplinary team, with licensing and board-certification

Qualifications

• Hold an active, unrestricted U.S. NP or PA license.
• Board certification for NP (ANCC/AANPCB/PNCB/AACN) or PA (NCCPA).
• Board certification/eligibility in FM, IM, Geri, PM&R & ED.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient care.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily rounds and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.
• Work six-hour facility shifts with start times between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• Ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
