Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc. (NEHCR) seeks a part-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to provide patient-centered primary care in skilled nursing facilities across Bad Axe, Michigan and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted U.S. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Board Certification: NP: ANCC/AANPCB/PNCB/AACN; PA: NCCPA.
• Board Certified or Board-Eligible: FM, IM, Geri, PM&R & ED.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

• Conduct daily rounds and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams.

Overview

Join our growing healthcare team providing patient-centered primary care to residents in skilled nursing facilities throughout Bad Axe, Michigan. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, no call or overnight responsibilities, and the opportunity to work collaboratively with physicians and facility staff to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care.

Position Highlights

• Part-time with flexible scheduling
• Six-hour facility shifts; rounds typically begin between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.
• No call or overnight shifts
• Average 15–20 patient visits per day
• Conduct daily rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, prescribe medications, and develop treatment plans
