Job summary

Bronson Healthcare Group in Kalamazoo is seeking an EMCU Unit Clerk FT Days to perform clerical and receptionist duties on the nursing unit, coordinate communications, and maintain records. You will input data, handle patient flow, and support the care team to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, and the ability to meet competency standards in English, writing, spelling and reading comprehension.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for those hired on or after 6/1/2017.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred.
• Ability to meet competency requirements for English, writing, spelling and reading comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Perform clerical and receptionist functions for the unit.
• Coordinate unit communication systems (phones, nurse call, HIS).
• Maintain records and filing systems; manage multiple processes.
• Assist in maintaining supplies and unit environment; support RN and care team.
