Job summary

Scottish Rite for Children is seeking a Transport Manager in Dallas (Hospital). The role involves coordinating transportation, deliveries, and pickups across SRC campuses, ensuring same-day service, and maintaining vehicle safety and logs.

The position requires a high school diploma and a valid driver’s license, with duties extending to mailroom backup and warehouse support. Shifts run 8:00 am–5:00 pm with occasional evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Must possess a valid state issued Driver’s License and maintain insurability.
Knowledge in transportation of patients and staff, including securing wheelchairs for transport.
Basic automotive maintenance skills and good organizational sense.
Customer-focused demeanor and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate transportation, deliveries, and pickups for all campuses.
Ensure same-day pick-ups and deliveries unless noted otherwise.
Be available during 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with possible shift adjustments.
Serve as the Mail Room backup and assist SCM warehouse staff as needed.
Maintain vehicle logs, inspect and service SRC vehicles, and ensure safety guidelines.
Confirm drivers are SRC-insured and approved before driving any vehicles.
Coordinate donations and transport professionally and courteously.
