DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Telecommun/Communications professional for the night shift in Commerce Township, Michigan. The role provides telephone answering, patient information, and on-call coordination to support hospital operations.

You will operate the central paging system, coordinate with physicians and staff, and help maintain on-call schedules and patient-tracking records, contributing to reliable patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six to twelve months clerical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and screens telephone calls and connects callers to the appropriate extension.
• Provides general and patient information and on-call information for physicians and staff.
• Pages physicians and designated personnel; monitors alarms as requested.
• Responds to emergency calls and notifies hospital personnel of code and trauma situations.
• Maintains and prepares on-call schedules and trauma documentation.
• Notifies physicians of requests for consultation with patient details.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
