The role involves monitoring alarms, notifying physicians, maintaining on-call schedules, and assisting with emergency communications. A high school diploma and clerical experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Six to twelve months clerical experience preferred.
• Experience handling phones and basic patient information is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route telephone calls to the appropriate extensions.
• Provide general and patient information including room numbers and visiting hours.
• Notify on-call physicians and staff and relay urgent information as needed.
• Maintain on-call schedules and incident reports and document call usage.
• Support alarm monitoring and assist security with urgent notifications.
