Hampton Behavioral Health Center is seeking a FULL TIME RECEPTIONIST/SWITCHBOARD OPERATOR. Hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. You will answer all calls, route to the correct department, greet visitors professionally, and take messages as needed. Knowledge of hospital systems and quick response to emergencies are essential.

The role emphasizes professional interactions with diverse populations and routine use of a hospital telephone system, supporting inpatient and outpatient programs.

Formación

• High School graduate or GED certification required.
• Excellent customer service and phone skills.
• Previous experience working in a medical office preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Answer all incoming telephone calls and interdepartmental calls and route them appropriately.
• Greet visitors to the facility in a professional and pleasant manner.
• Take messages when appropriate and conduct interactions professionally by phone or in person.
• Be familiar with a hospital telephone system and respond to emergency and crisis situations; read fire alarm board.
