Job summary

Qualifications

• One year of related, clerical, or customer service experience; education may be used in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned post in hospital lobbies or switchboard offices and greet visitors with professionalism.
• Answer and direct incoming calls to the health system and hospital emergency lines, send notifications, and respond to alarms.
• Monitor regulatory and security systems and notify as required (fire alarm, medical gas, access intercom, CCTV, alarms).
• Use switchboard equipment, document calls with caller name and number, and follow up for action.
