Job summary

NYU Langone Health in New York City is seeking a Distribution Attendant to perform full order fulfillment and receiving/warehouse functions, including loading/unloading, packing, shipping, weighing, labeling, sorting, stocking, and equipment handling for supplies and mail across the Medical Center.

You will use inventory control applications and handheld scanners to assemble orders, circulate supplies to Nursing Units, maintain par-stock levels, and document transactions; must lift up to 50 lbs

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Experience with inventory management and handheld scanning devices.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Receives, loads, and unloads pallets and places them into racks and shelves, rotating stock by expiration date.
• Maintain inventory levels; restock carts and prepare items for Nursing Units and par program.
• Ensure par-stock carts are filled to required levels and kept neat.
• Deliver supplies to patient care areas; obtain necessary signatures for issued items.
• Document transactions and perform cycle counts and inventory control tasks.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment safely.
