Job summary

NYU Langone Health seeks a Distribution Attendant to handle order fulfillment and warehouse tasks across the Medical Center. You will load/unload, sort, stock, and ship supplies and equipment, using inventory systems and handheld devices to assemble orders for par programs and Nursing Units.

The role requires strong attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, with daily responsibilities including parcel handling, records, and deliveries throughout the campus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Effective communication and accurate record-keeping.
• Experience with computerized inventory management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, loads and unloads pallets and moves items to shelves.
• Maintains inventory levels by restocking supply carts and records.
• Ensures par-stock carts are filled to correct levels and neat in appearance.
• Delivers supplies to patient care areas and obtains necessary signatures.
• Verifies supplies against documents and updates inventory records.
• Operates pallet jacks and forklift safely and adheres to schedules.
• Keeps work area clean and reports discrepancies to supervisor.
