NYU Langone Health is hiring a Distribution Attendant to perform full range of order fulfillment and warehouse tasks, including loading/unloading, picking, packing, shipping, and mail handling across our Medical Center. You will verify receipts, use inventory control systems, and ensure accurate records while supporting Nursing Units and par programs.

The role emphasizes efficient stock rotation, safe operation of material handling equipment, and maintaining neat, organized supply carts.

Formación

• Requires a High School diploma or GED.
• Effective communication, both verbal and written.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems and barcode/handheld scanning.
• Ability to plan, organize, prioritize and execute tasks with attention to detail.
• Capable of operating postal and material-handling equipment safely.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Receive, load and unload pallets of supplies and place them into racks and shelving.
• Maintain inventory levels, restock carts, and document stock levels.
• Ensure par-stock carts are filled to the correct level and neat in appearance.
• Deliver supplies to patient care areas with proper authorizations.
• Verify documents and input data into inventory systems; perform cycle counts.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
